Our Hardwood Sofa Bed Frame sits upright as a sofa and folds down to create a double bed. Made to order in our Organature workshop using Australian hardwood timber without chemical fumigation. There is no Spring mechanism in our Sofa Bed Design it requires manual placement for laying down flat which is a quick process and can be done in 2 minutes.

• Made using minimal glue that dries rock hard so NO out gassing.
• Bolts and keys supplied for easy assembly.
• NOTE: Slats appear oiled for photo only. Our Slats are not oiled and will not be visible in normal use. No bed base or couch should have oiled, stained or painted slats as this can become an issue with any mattress – including conventional ones.

PROCEDURE:

• Remove 2 special bolts, screw on two legs and then fold back into the perfect bed.
• No unsightly hinges — no fingers caught.
• Approx. 210 cm long 98 cm wide x 100 cm high as a sofa — 143 cm wide when laid down as a bed.

To make couch into a bed base, screw legs into nut holes provided, tighten. Take out the long screws and gently lower back. To finish, attach ‘lip’ to front edge using short bolts.
