Hardwood Bed Base – Windsor – AUSTRALIAN MADE 100% Organic QUEEN
This sturdy timber bed base has a solid slatted timber 57 cm high ladder style head board and recessed legs to avoid stubbing toes. Solid 140 x 32 mm timber frame. Base of the mattress sits level with frame. The Windsor bed base is a mixture of two popular bed bases. The head board is from the Hawthorn (as pictured in main photo) and the base is the Barossa (see image in the gallery).
BED BASE OPTION THAT CAN FIT A TRUNDLE UNDERNEATH: If you would like to put a trundle underneath a bed like this, the Hawthorn Bed Base looks exactly the same but the legs are placed on the outside to allow for a trundle to go under smoothly. If you don't need a trundle underneath, then this Windsor Bed Base is an ideal option.
BED HEIGHTS: Available in 30 cm and 36 cm, or a custom height between 37 and 60cm (please provide specific height details on the comments of your order).

We source our oils from Livos who have a range of other colours, you may choose to purchase raw and sanded and apply the oils yourself, here is a link to the Livos website: Livos. (The bed base in the photo has been oiled with gloss white which is no longer available.)
PLEASE NOTE: Our slat panels on the base of the bed are supplied raw and sanded. The slats are not seen once the mattress and bed linen have been placed on top. We believe it’s better to leave the slats themselves natural and reduce the risk of the oil being transferred onto your organic mattress.
